sure was glad to find these
i have 2 cats and i feed them tartar treats every day when i get home. they both look forward to it. like with children they are very jealous, so i have to give the same thing and amount to both. the quandry is this, one is small and the other is some kind of giant kitty. all the other brands are either so small that the big one swallows them whole, or so big that the little one won't attempt to eat them. these have some kind of denta gard which must work, because they both get rave reviews at the vet.

dental clean for cats
Great!what can I say about this one between the greenies cat treats and the crunh n clean both are good for keeping your cats teeth clean and healthy. But crunch and n clean was reccommend to me by a friend which cat help remove almost 95%of plaque and tartar from your cats teeth.IT states vets recommend it and this is a plus for me.

Two paws down
Day One: Treats devoured with alacrity by our two, treat-loving, non-finicky felines.Day Two: Seemed to enjoy pretty well.Day Three: Enjoyment/interest/speed of devouring definitely on the wane.Day Four: Even though hungry, some treats left uneaten.Day Five: One or two treats reluctantly gnawed; the rest totally ignored.Day Six: After not even a week's trial, the jury is in: GUILTY of being the worst treats ever.I'm going to have to sneak these not-cheap nuggets into the cats' occasional offerings of "kitty crack" (aka Fancy Feast) if they're going to get eaten. Two paws (and their humans' thumbs) most definitely DOWN.

1 out of 2 Cats Recommend CnC!
I have two cats who are snack-motivated (the third is not, so her vote is not included), and we tried both the Salmon and the Chicken Crunch n Clean. It's a bit on the pricey side, but as anyone who has ever tried to brush their cat's teeth will tell you, anything that can lend a hand in kitty dental hygiene can be worth it. The cats didn't seem to have a preference between Chicken and Salmon, both chased and gobbled the treats immediately. There's the problem, though: whether it's the size or texture of the treats, or just down to the individual cat, only one of the two cats (same size, generally same disposition) bothered to chew. The other just swallowed it whole. I don't mind giving the cats treats, but prefer other brands for their "junk food". In this case, only one of them was getting the possibility of a dental benefit.

Half the team approves - HIGHLY APPROVES
It started with a look. Them asleep in their beds, me dropping a treat on the floor near them. Their heads shifted slightly to size me up (without moving their perfectly folded bodies of course) - Dad kneeling near their beds? A mouse scurrying across the floor that must be stopped immediately before it reaches its destination? A toy?Once my presence was established their attention shifted to floor and small brown nugget laying close to their beds. Alex, who's ALWAYS hungry and eats anything I put before him, favored his bed to the morsel and only considered leaving it to perhaps rub against my leg - a favored past-time second only to eating. Lewis, the more timid, more picky, and generally more cautious (after 6 years I still don't think he's yet convinced I'm not trying to kill him) crawled slowly from his nest to inspect. There was a sniff... maybe two. And then I couldn't believe my eyes when he actually ate the treat. He's since had more and has learned what to expect when I pull the bag from it's spot in the pantry. A frenzy complete with mouthy remarks ensues.Technical details: The treats look and feel like most other cat treats we've tried. They're crunchy (vs. chewy as the title suggests) and bite sized (perhaps the size of a pea but flat). I haven't noticed a difference in their oral hygiene at all but neither cat has any teeth or gum problems. The pouch itself is easily resealable for later use of course.I hope to post a video of this soon!

The only treat my cat will eat!
I rescued a cat not long ago and have had a hard time getting him to come out from under my sofa. When offered about four other kinds of treats he turned up his nose, these were the only treats that would get him out from under the couch! They must taste good!
