They work llike a charm.
These needles work on all size ropes. I can even cut the larger 7 strand rope at a 45 and burn the end. The hardened burnt plastic will get caught even in the smallest needle and pull it through some pretty tight spaces.

these fids are way sturdier than I thought they'd be when I ordered them. I was thinking aluminum but these are frigging STEEL fids! they work better than I imagined they would as well...if you're looking for a set of these..these are the real deal and I guarantee you won't be sorry for getting em.

These work great for making paracord bracelets. They are a little tough sometimes getting them to grab the melted ends but this can depend on how thick the paracord is and if you don't make a good end to attach too. Gotta have em.
