Brightech LightView Pro Flex 2 in 1 Magnifying Desk Lamp, 2.25x Light Magnifier, Adjustable Magnifying Glass with Light for Crafts, Reading, Close Work

I can sew much easier now that I have better lighted and magnified work before me. The bendable stand makes it easy to aim to where I precisely need. The light is a bright LED that highlights the area I am focusing on without the heat of an incandescent bulb. I use it next to my sewing machine and use the base for my pin cushion and small scissors and seam ripper to be readily available. I like the option of using the base with the lamp or the clip. Both are included and are easy to attach and then detach and interchange. I like the base with sewing but if I need to do hand work I can use the clip for a stationary use of the magnifying light. It is more sturdy than I had envisioned before it was shipped. I am very happy with this purchase.

No broken parts. Light still bright. Clip still grips tight. Mag glass still good. I use it daily for drawing and I'm bending it around all the time. Very happy.

I recently got into miniature painting and needing a magnifying glass to paint all these small pieces. I got the 2.25x magnifier and it worked great. The LED lights are great and very helpful. My power was out during the day, but I got this magnifier and plugged it into a battery backup I had and that was the only light I had other than sunlight coming through the windows, and it was enough. See the pics for magnification. The 2.25x really does help quite a bit. I was able to paint fingers, and small joints, etc.CONS: Not much of a con, but I thought it was powered via USB, but it is just a standard 2-prong connection. I had a small battery backup I wanted to use that connects USB, but since the magnifier was 2-prong, I had to use a different battery pack. So not a huge concern and most people wont care. Another "con" is the base is nice and heavy, but when the lamp is bent at certain angles, it can still tip over. Again, this is a small con, and not a deal breaker at all, but thought I would note it. I was painting a mini and adjusted the magnifier and it tipped over while I was painting. So, just dont stretch the goose neck out all the way horizontal and you should be fine. Just something to be aware of.Overall, a great purchase I am happy with.

Great little lamp. Lots of light and well balanced..ONLY NEGATIVE THING: The magnifying glass is a bit small. At 4" wide, sometimes it is difficult to use with both eyes.Otherwise Perfect for my desk.

The media could not be loaded. Update: On Jan. 13, 2024 the lamp stopped working, the on button would not stay on. When I pressed the button it would turn the light on but when I would release the button the light would shut off. So I contacted the company and they returned my email in one day and sent another one out promptly. Good customer service so far, I haven't received the replacement, but I anticipate it to come soon.I love this lamp, I use it to do my nails. It's very bright and the magnifying feature helps me to do detail work work ease. I don't always use the magnifying feature so when I'm not using that it was important for me to have a very bright light to work under. The clamp is convenient and the base/stand is very heavy so it's sturdy and easy to maneuver. Happy Purchase

Nice magnifying light with a 2.5 power glass lens. Has both clamp and base.Just right for using with a fly tying vise. Uses normal house plugs for power. lens can be adjusted to view jaws of vise.Too high power magnification can be an issue and this light/magnifying source is just right for me.I have lens about 4” from tip of vise jaw.

I am just embarking on making necklaces with beads, wire and chain and I often need to look closely at various parts of the process. This works perfectly for that. In addition, it renders colors faithfully and it lets me see things I couldn't see with other forms of lighting. I find myself using it more often than I expected. It sure beats using a handheld magnifier to see tiny print and when my husband got a splinter in his finger last week, it was easy for me to see where it was still sticking out from under the skin, so I could use a finely-pointed tweezers to pull it out.Very solidly built, easy to use and adjut, takes up very little space on my desk without using the clamp, and lets me work to the side of my main work area without having to get out of my chair. Highly recommend!
