ShadowlineSilhouette Gown and Peignoir Set (51737)

I was looking for a gown that was similar to the Olga brand gowns which are no longer available anywhere. I am large busted and need something that offers a little support. The stretch fabric on the bodice does the job perfectly. I've already ordered in other colors.

My mother is 95 years old and is planning her funeral. Her wish, for as long as I can remember, has been to have a beautiful peignoir set to wear for her burial, and that’s what she asked for last Christmas. I looked EVERYWHERE for a suitable set for a woman “of a certain age,” and only found one reasonably priced and available from your Company on Amazon.I bought the set, had it gift wrapped and sent to my mother for Christmas and she LOVES it. She says it is PERFECT! She’s happy, I’m relieved, the problem is solved, and we all Thank Amazon!

I don't recommend this peinoit trousseau robe & gown. The material is very cheap & they only sent the gown without robe. I also found the same set (identical) at Target on the sales rack for $20.00. I was really bummed out because the pictures on Amazon of the set the company used makes the fabric look like a higher thread count. The bust area it is so sheer & it's gathered that you can see ALL of your boobs/nipples. I wanted elegant set not a cheap thrill. My husband called the number online for the company & called it. It must have been the owner or someone with the company's cellphone. They were very rude, refused to help him and insisted we go through Amazon to resolve the matter. We were appalled at his rudeness. But, in true great Amazon service we received our refund promptly from Amazon! Their customer service is great and was the only nice thing I can say about this company or its product. But for just over $100.00 USD I was able to catch great sales over the Memorial Day weekend & bought 2 pairs of high quality shoes and an awesome sundress for the same price as the gown & robe.! So all turned out well in the end even though I truly was looking for nightwear! My birthday is a great day today! Thank you Amazon!

First let me say that I've read other reviews on this item where some people received the robe but not the Peignoir, and some received the Peignoir, but not the robe. I'm glad that I received both the robe, and the Peignoir and they were both soft, beautiful, and is perfect condition. Again this item was very pricey and normally I would never pay so much for nightwear, but I've bought a few of the other sets; (Black, White, Perifrost) and I love the look, and feel of these night gowns. I love the deep navy color of this set, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. Pictures to be added soon.

Beautiful fit and soft, silky fabric and forgiving sizing. At my usual 5'3" 120 lbs it fits great and hits at the ankle, but also fit beautifully when I was 9 months pregnant - the skirt is ample enough to adjust to fluctuating sizing without looking odd. Each piece individually is a bit sheer (the top is unlined) but when worn together, the gown and robe cover everything quite nicely and I have no issues wearing this around the house or in front of the family. Glad I purchased it and will be buying another set for a wedding gift.

I want to give it 5 stars, I really do,but.....The gown is beautiful but it is SO VERY cheap. The material is flimsy, not silky, cheesy cheap.$50 Quality at best.I personally won't wear it around guests or even my children. Very low cut. Hubby will like;)The robe is just as low cut as gown, it just adds sleeves.I like the bodice. Very supportive.I would not have bought this gown if I had been able to see/touch it in person.

Fits nicely, runs a little snug around the breast( I'm a DD.) and is very sheer. The color was a light icy blue/purple. The biggest issues is the value for the price is not a good buy at all, and the buttons are extremely hard to button and unbutton (takes me several minutes, not exaggerating, and there are only 3 of them). And it is way too sheer with out wearing it buttoned up.

It's lovely! The nightgown is very comfortable, and the stretchy lace bodice offers good support for the bosom. The fit is perfect. The gown is very feminine and sexy and flows when you walk. Cool, for a summer evening. And when the peignoir is worn over the gown it is modest enough to step outside to retrieve the mail or wear while cooking breakfast for houseguests or for receiving visitors while convalescing from childbirth or illness.

The nightgown fits perfect and is quite attractive but the long sleeve cover should be larger in the set to fit over the gown. Somewhat disappointed about that.
