 This dress fits perfectly, it's beautiful my daughter loved it. Definitely buying another. Great fabric, lots of movement. We absolutely love it.

My daughter wears a 10, is ten years old and of average build and height, but muscular and tight, hardly any body fat and has a flat tummy. I ordered the 9/10 and it fits with has plenty of room to grow. Even a tad too roomy in stomach area, bunches when belt is on. So glad I didn't order the 10/11.We bought this in red with black dots for a swing dance in her dance recital. The fabric is thin but the top is lined, doubled. It ironed well. The belt really does stink! I washed it with soap and water, let it dry in the hot southwestern sun. Still stinks. It's ok, we are storing it in the garage until she needs it. I trimmed it easily with kitchen scissors.She likes it so much she wore it for a piano recital. We put a little black cap-sleeve undershirt with it and it was darling.

One of the best dresses I've bought my kids in quite awhile, in regards to structure of the material and looks on my girls. Classic and classy. However this is truly a 'twirling' dress and the skirt part is see through when the sun is behind it! So you might want a slip--although a classic petticoat might fill the purpose even better. A little sturdier belt hooks at the waist would make it easier for her to put it on herself. Some of the stitching has started to unravel and so far has been ok just tying it off. I'll bet she cries when she outgrows it!

Nice dress, simple and elegant. Got the 11/12 YR for my 11 year old who is 5"1 and 80 lbs. Length and fit is perfect except for parts under the arms is slightly loose but this was expected after reading all the online reviews. It's also true that this dress is not lined. Good for school day and play.

My daughter found this dress to use on Halloween for her Minnie Mouse costume. She wanted something she’d be able to wear again. This will be great in the spring and summer with sandals or ballet flats. The fit is darling and it’s a great quality (I haven’t washed it yet, but I’m hopeful it will wash up well). At this point, I would buy again and would recommend.

My daughter wore this on her last day of school, the neighborhood talent show and other days and got compliments. It's good quality and much nicer than I anticipated for the price it was. We will order more for sure in other colors
