Compact Oxford English Dictionary of Current English: Third edition revised

My dad has used a version of this dictionary to assist him in solving crossword puzzles, etc. for many years. His last edition is now falling apart, so he requested a new one for his recent birthday.My order was delivered very quickly and it was as described.Dad appreciated it very much!

We bought this dictionary for my 10 year old son, it's really useful for him, the condition of book was really good. We are quite happy with this.

It has lots of words in it.

LOL, the Little Oxford dictionary I've been using is thirty-one years oldno wonder it doesn't list DVD. This latest one also contains an Englishgrammar section which is also very helpful. Brilliant.

Sur la photo il s’agit de celui à droite comme vous l’aurait remarqué et ce n’est pas le plus petit, il est de taille moyenne bien que compact donc assez lourd donc pour une utilisation de poche je ne vous le conseille pas. Cependant ce dictionnaire est très complet et correspond à mon utilisation bien qu’un peut embarrassant il reste très bon.

ConciseとCompact違いは後者はコーパスベースの編集。簡潔明瞭。買って良かった。前者はOEDの流れを汲む蓄積の宝庫の感あり。これも版により評価は分かれるが捨てがたい歴史がある。
