I wish I had one of these for my first child
Recently I bought 2 of these chairs, one for my 6 month old son and one for my 3 year old daughter and I love them. I wish I had bought my daughter one when she was younger. Putting the chair together wasn't easy but it wasn't bad either. It is study and seems to be well made. it looks nice in my dining room and most importantly, it works well for my son. With the infant insert, the clips on the seat and the tray, my son in nice and secure. I would definately recommend the infant insert though. I wouldn't feel comfortable with him in there without it. he seems to be comfortable although if he starts throwing a fit it is possible for him to hit his head on the wooded back. I think he has done it once in the last 2 weeks. One of the features I like best is that you can adjust the seat height relative to the tray, which I have not seen on any of the 5 high chairs we have owned over the last 3 years. This would have been nice for my daughter since she is really short and I always felt like the tray was at chin height. It is nice for my son because he is huge and the chairs we have that worked for my daughter squeeze his little cute fat legs. It is also nice to know that this chair will fit him as he grows (my 3 year old loves hers and can now sit comfortably at the table without having to sit on her knees).A couple of the reviews I read mentioned that they wished it came with a plastic tray. Mine did, so apparently the company has improved that component. The tray snaps over the wooden part. Overall I am very happy with this chair and am relieved to finally have found one that works.Update: It has now been 1 1/2 years since I bought the chairs. My kids are 2 and 5. Both still like the chairs and still sit in them. They still look good and are in good shape. I also really like that the food wipes off of them really easily, even if it has dried on and been sitting for a while.

Wonderful Mid-Range Highchair
I received this highchair, infant insert, and tray last week. My husband set it up in about 30 minutes, and it was immediately put to use. We love it! I had several concerns after reading the other reviews, namely that I wouldn't be able to take the tray off easily. It does require the use of both hands, but it's very easy to adjust. It does only have two settings, but they work fine for my 7 month old. I can slide him into and out of the seat with the tray in it's widest open setting, and then click it into the smaller setting once he's in the chair.I didn't feel comfortable with the way the waist strap was set up (running from the bottom of seat, through infant insert, and around baby) because it hit baby more on his legs and hips instead of around his waist. It was an easy fix though; I took the plastic pieces off and ran the webbing through the holes in the back of the chair. It took about 5 minutes for this modification, and now it is securely around baby's waist.I have been a bit nervous about leaving any standing water on the chair, as I have read about the wood warping, but so far I haven't had any problems. One frustrating design flaw is that it's tough to get any water out from under the infant insert. (There are holes in the insert that crumbs and water can fall through, onto the wood below.) But it hasn't been a big problem, as I am still able to get a cloth in under the seat to wipe away crumbs/water. We did use the provided velcro to help keep the infant insert in place, but I don't think it's necessary since the insert "latches" onto the front and back of the chair anyway. Without the velcro, I think it would be easier to nudge the seat up and clean underneath. So far, we love it! It matches my table and furniture nicely, and it seems very comfortable for baby to sit in. I didn't want to spend the big bucks for a high end high chair like the Svan or Stokke, and this is a very good mid-range chair. It has nice lines, is sturdy and well-constructed, and I think it will easily last through a couple of kids.

Worst High Chair
Here are my concerns with this high chair:-Bad proportions for child 6 months-1 year-Child's legs can't bend at 90 degrees or reach foot rest-Tray sits on baby's knees-Huge gap between tray and child's body which makes meals even more messy-You can't wash the straps because they're bolted to the bottom with a screw-Can't adjust the straps because they have some weird double slide system-Straps don't go across the child's waist - they go across the child's thighs which is totally not securei've had it for 4 months and will be getting rid of it. Not worth the money at all!Customer service is dismissive and unhelpful. Don't buy this! Get the Stokke instead!

Solide, bien pensée, grandie avec l’enfant
Le coussin qui est sur le siège est en tissu. Pas pratique pour un bébé. J’ai ajouté du plastique pour le recouvrir,Si non, j’aime la stabilité de cette chaise évolutive
