Redeemed-Sticky circle cuts....so far.
Edit: after running the punch through several sheets of aluminum foil and using the wadded up foil to polish the cutting surface it works great. 3 stars has been updated to 5. I'm very pleased with this punch and am glad I didn't send it back!I love that this punch collapses and doesn't take up as much space as some of the 2" punches I've found. I gave it 3 stars because it isn't making clean punches yet. I'm working with it like I would a dull punch to see if I can remedy the issue before returning. Hopefully I can update my review when and if it starts making clean cuts. To be fair I am returning a 2inch HL punch because it sticks but issue was in the spring. Maybe 2" punches are hard to get to work right?

Keeper
I wanted to cut out card stock labels for my bath bombs ans shower steamers. I will try next on laminated sticker paper for my salves. But I'm a huge fan with the cardstock cut to keep and use in my business.

Think twice about buying this one.
I bought several EK Success Circle punches at the time I bought this one, and I am REALLY hoping I don't have problems with the others! So far the 1 1/2" plain circle and the 1 1/2" and 2" scalloped circles are still working okay. Unfortunately, this 2" plain circle punched correctly 2 or 3 times. Next time I unlocked it and got ready to punch something, it wouldn't work. I couldn't punch with it, I couldn't close it. It was like it was misaligned or something - after punching only 2 or 3 circles! I'm really disappointed, because it looked like a good punch and I really need a 2" circle! It's interesting to me that when I purchased it, I didn't see any warnings - nor do I when I just search for their 2" punch now. But when I went to return it, it went to a page that clearly said to be careful because there had been a lot of returns on it! Are there two different listings? One for before you purchase & one after? I don't know. I'm just grateful that Amazon appears to have accepted it as a defective return & refunded my money - but that wouldn't have happened if it had been a few days later as they have a cut-off date for returns. Hopefully the others hold up!

Improved design
I bought one of these over a year ago. The blade had a bur in it, and it never quite worked right. It became unusable a couple of month ago since it started to warp. I had ordered a different brand with a plastic hinge, and that didn't last long before the hinge snapped. I have to admit that I'm cutting very thick papper with these. I'm back to this brand and am presently surprised by the improvements made. The blade is much slimmer than before, so it cuts with less effort.

The reviews weren't wrong.
Only mine didn't even get through the first hole. Thin Chipboard. But if you cut above the hole all the way across about a half inch above the perforated fail, you can address it from both sides and get it to work, rotating it around concentrically requires you hold it upside down to see. It's almost the 360 method, but I start out with holding it upside down to save material space between holes. Big pain but it works. If you are using this for production getting as many holes per sheet as possible. Be prepared to measure and precut strips, Easier with a paper guillotine, Then you can address both sides top and bottom within the machines reach, and it will beat scissors. But just barely. If you are using this on a button maker or for buttons. I will begin to laugh now. Good luck.

Works great
This paper punch worked great. It cut the circle perfectly. I could see where I was cutting. My four year old could do it easily. Would buy from this brand again!
