Daisy P51 Slingshot

I purchased this to use to install amateur radio antennas in tree tops. To do this I needed to add a fishing reel to dispense the line that was carried by the weight I shot with the slingshot. The bands are mounted with screws that allow for a nice adjustment to match various length arms. They also allowed me to install a flat piece of aluminum to hold the reel just below the yoke. All parts of the slingshot are well made and sturdy. With my addition, I can easily shoot an oblong fishing sinker into the top of a oak tree with ease. This product exceeded my expectations.

These are awesome. The arm brace and pistol grip make it easy to hold it all steady and aim. I'm an old lady and do find it takes a bit more "pull" strength than I expected but it is fun and easy to use.

Well the wrist brace is at an awkward angle. The moulding process leaves seperation marks/ridges down middle of handle (needs sanding). Daisy bands are powerful and if you ever have a problem they have great customer service! I took wrist brace off got shorter bolts and using Pocket Predator conversion I have a nice flat band pistol grip shooter. Sweet!Edit: All Daisy slingshots are fully servicable. With just a phillips screwdriver you can dissassemble and inspect all models completely!

This is no toy and kids should be well trained on safety and consideration of others property as well as needless wounding/killing of small animals/birds.On other hand a good varmit killer on farms. raccoons do not stand a chance again a good shooter.

Overall this is an excellent slingshot, especially for beginners. You can literally extract this from the packaging and start shooting accurately without any assembly or modifications other than fitting it to your arm. I had to go fully extended because I have a long draw. After fitting it to my specifications I took 12 shots, 6 left handed and 6 right handed. I hit the targets every single shot. Very nice!!! The ONLY issue I have with this particular design is that it is not comfortable on the arm. This problem is easily remedied by simply bending it up by small increments and testing it until its comfortable on your arm. EASY SOLUTION, remember, Small Increments, you don't want to bend it too much or you'll lose the support and your hand will start shaking. One nice thing about the Adjustment screws is that you can attach a Whisker Biscuit and fashion a nock loop within the pouch or remove the nock and replace it with a golf tee. Then you can call it a SlingBow and launch arrows.

Solidly engineered thick all steele frame with extra heavy duty hardware. No tiny flimsy Allen bolts here. It should be no problem to attach accessories as desired. I'm 6 1" and it fits me perfectly at its max extension.

The Daisy P51 is my favorite slingshot. I have a few custom made slingshots and a few of the major brand name ones but the P51 sends that ammo to the target with a hard hit. I target shoot at about 25 feet into shoe box size cardboard boxes using 1/4 inch steel ammo. For me this slingshot handles better and is more accurate.Put newspaper or an old shirt into the cardboard target box and it will trap most of your ammo to be used another day.

I use this to scare squirrels and crows from the back yard.It's comfortable to shoot. My accuracy is pretty bad, but that is because I am shooting small rocks, not the steel balls and I have not time to take the slingshot to a range to work on my aim.I am using the small, relatively light rocks for safety because I live near surrounding homes and I take great care to only shoot when I have an ample back stop such as an 8' wood fence which gets hit most of the time making a loud noise and scaring the squirrels away.This is not a toy. Shooting steel balls would make this a lethal weapon at close range and should be used responsibly as if though you were shooting arrows from a potent bow.

Worked good at first, then I kept going through bands like crazy. Decided to check the fork and realized there were rough spots which were ripping the tube on the left fork after only like 20 shots. Can't return now as the return window as closed. Buyer beware, huge quality control issue here!

Great adjustable slingshot and well made. Addition to my collection that I use for target shooting with my grandson.

Works well. I gave it away cause it brought me bad memories. I’m a nature lover

Bought for my 12 year old son. He loves it. Does have a fairly heavy pull. With good ammo it can rip a coke can in half.

Nice product but elastic broke on second day. Bit disappointed with that . Replaced it with a more powerful band and all wass

Great little slingshot. Bought it to mess around in the backyard with some pop can targets. Wasn't exoecting much from the price but i have to say im really impressed. Great product.

Used it 4 times for approx 10mins each time and the cable snapped. It was extremely comfortable though, and built well.

Rubber is a bit flimsier than I had hoped. Easily fixed with a better replacement. Super accurate though.
