Perfect!Maintains our room of ~400 sqf with 9" ceilings at ~40After just a week of use, the water is all dirtyI though supersonic humidifiers were better because I could see the water coming out, but I was wrong!Update (8 months later) Winter time in CalgaryStill keeping the room in great condition.Filling the water every 2 days

Very easy and straightforward to use. First day, it was making a clunky noise and discovered that the teeth used to turn the filters was slipping. After I adjusted them it hasn’t made that noise since. It lasts about a day and a half before needing to be refilled, at setting 2. This unit hasn’t gotten our main floor above 32% though. It’s been running for a few weeks straight. That’s with it not being extremely cold yet.Edit: after buying a small humidity reader, looks like our thermostat is off by about 10% RH. We are actually sitting at 40% RH.Main thing though, it doesn’t feel dry and air feels cleaner. This, paired with our air cleaner on the furnace works well.Overall like the product. Hope the slipping doesn’t become an issue in the future though.

Excellent achat pour le 800 pieds carré.C’est vraiment très sec dans notre chambre à coucher surtout l’hiver et j’avais déjà acheté 3 différents humidificateur qui ne faisait pas la job convenablement.J’ai alors décidé d’investir sur ce produit de très grande qualité et Wow après seulement 2 jours ma chambre est enfin à l’humidité normale,je dors enfin toute mes nuits sans avoir le nez et la gorge sec.Je le recommande fortement,même si le prix est très cher

German engineering triumphs over dry air and impurities. The Venta 45 works at least as well as advertised. The air is perfectly humidified and cleaned. If you're tired of paying for pads and wicks (I have very hard water and it cost me $200\year for wicks and solvents), this machine will pay for itself in 2-3 years. The large reservoir means a lot of time between fill-ups. Easy to clean; the recommended Venta water treatment additive is a MUST for it to work properly.

A little pricy but am very pleased with its ability to add humidity to a large room. I live in a very dusty environment and have 2 cats but It doesn't seem to filter much and that's why I'm not giving a full 5 stars.

Great hunidification, the air cleaning works amazing as the water is definately getting very dirty, and the reservoir size is good as it last a one full day. Living in Canada in Kelowna in winter, which is dry. Took the humidity of a 900 square foot space from 21% to 42% in about 4 weeks. The surrounding area takes time to absorb and humidify so it does take time to get to the specified humidity but it does work very well. Great product!

That situation happened, when I used 1~2 weeks.So I returned one time. And I bought again. But same problem happened again.That sound is very noisy at night.I'll return again...

No more filters to change. You have to wash the disks on a regular basis so the humidifier does not loose any efficiency.It is an easy job that can be completed in a short time. The Venta Treatment additive works well.

highly recommend even for night time use.Very quite and it does the job!

Great unit but oversold. This is not enough to humidify the area it claims. It will work for two rooms, not four. It's also a pain to keep filled.

Best humidifier I have ever had. No replacement filter! Just wash weekly.

So it is a bowl of water, with some plastic disks, half submerged, rotating on top of the bowl.While device is fairly quite, and seems to consume little electricity, functionally - it is just a humidifier, and not an efficient one.I do not get an idea of how it cleans air. When it supposedly catches particles of dust on the rotating surfaces, where do those particles go? To the water bowl? When I would expect some residuals in water visible upon changing. Stay on disks? When I would expect disks to change color, and loss functionality over time.I put the unit in my living room next to the wood-burning fireplace, hoping to a) improve humidity in the room, and b) clean air, as the fireplace often blasts smoke inside the room when adding logs. I do not feel any air quality improvement, water in the unit is as clean as when it poured from the tap, and disks are as white as the day I first took unit out of the box. Humidity level is currently less than 40%, with the Venta Airwasher/Humidifier on max (3) setting mostly 24/7, and me adding water to the top level every day.

I bought it to clean the air in my attic after I did a massive remodel. Dirt, sawdust, and who knows what was up there... and this did a great job cleaning it out. Below is a picture of one day's washing.I gave it 5 stars when I first wrote the review, unfortunately, 4 months after I received the air purifier, it stopped shutting off when it ran out of water. I still like it, but I have to make sure it is always filled with water or it continues to run without it.I tried contacting the company about the defective product, but they never contacted me back. The product is still under warranty, but that doesn't mean anything if the company never returns your emails.
