Nice stepper motor.

The media could not be loaded.  It's a bit early to tell yes but it appears to work flawlessly with the Phrozen sonic mighty 4k. You can actually use the existing cables with little to no issue, the cable in the machine does show the CORRECT configuration of wire layout so if you want to be safe you will need to redo the included wire.I bought the model with the plastic guide but and found that it didn't fit the print bed but the existing guide from the sonic mighty is compatible with the guide rod for this motor.It is slightly smaller then the motor that comes with the sonic mighty however.So far a good purchase.

This will work with a photon mono 4k but with the brass bit that stabilizes the rod the holes don't line up fully if you drill the holes out with a 9/64 bit you can get at least 3 of the 4 screws in I made the mistake of offsetting one hole so I only got 3 but I believe you can get all 4.

Noisy in one direction from the start, skips steps like crazy, not usable at all.

My unit lasted all of about 300 seconds of total operating time before seizing up. The load was all of 2 ounces, requiring 6 inches of travel. Worked fine the first day as I was assembling and testing. Then, coming back 3 days later to use it was totally locked up. I swapped in another NEMA17 stepper and that worked perfect, so my controls and electrical are all fine. I tried working the motor by hand once disconnected and, at first, it wouldn't rotate at all, Eventually, it began to rotate but slowly and with serious resistance. Extremely disappointed.UPDATE: After reading my review, the manufacturer has responded directly and immediately and have been working with me to understand my use case. They have stepped up and are shipping me a replacement unit. This is excellent customer support and I look forward to a working unit.

Surprised how nicely the backlash nuts fit. Most of what I held in my hands, had as much play (new) so you could drive a moving truck through. Not so with these!The product I chose is the one with the 8mm diameter, 2mm lead. The max acceleration needs to be trimmed to match the ability of the stepper. I think I found settings that do the trick and they perform great.

These work very, very well; very smooth, straight, and powerful. My machine uses 2 Z-steppers, so I had to increase the max. current on the driver, and add a heatsink. A note to Repetier users: The leadscrew calculator lists a T8-2 leadscrew, but the value this calculator returns must be divided by 4, for example, the motors are a 1.8 degree step, and my driver is set for 1/16 step, giving 3200 pulses per revolution. On these 4-lead screws, 1 revolution gives 8mm of travel, so the correct Z-step setting is 400 pulses per mm. Hope this helps.

Stepper motor works with the Photon S but it is 15mm too long so I had to drill a hole in the aluminum plate at the top. Also the wiring isn't correct off the line so make sure you swap the two center wires. Other than that these motors are perfect.

Mi serviva un motore compatto ma dovevo sollevare un peso consistente. Questo piccolo motore ha risolto brillantemente il problema. Ovviamente è più lento degli omologhi con passo 8mm (fino a 10mm/s se la cava comunque benissimo), ma ha una forza incredibile e l'irreversibilità della vite è un pregio per il mio uso

Perfecto para el recambio de motor de la Photon s, como dicen los compañeros de abajo, hay que cambiar los cables centrales para que funcione, pero nada difícil!

Je mets 4 étoiles et non 5 car la tige filetée, que j'ai reçue, fait un petit peu plus de 210mm et donc elle est trop longue de quelques mm. Ce qui m'a valu de tout démonter et de tout remonter plusieurs fois afin de trouver d'où venait le problème. Mais une fois tout en place (avec des rondelles pour espacer), cela fonctionne très bien.NB: pour le câblage, j'ai inversé les fils: bleu à la place de noir et rouge à la place de vert du coté du connecteur à la carte mère.

240 mm Version benötig für den Einsatz im Photon Zero einen leichten Dremeleinsatz und einen Poltausch des Kabels von Rot und Grün. Klappt dann aber super. Macht einen besseren Eindruck als die Orginal Z-Achse.
