Works Well
If bugs make you buggy, this product is for you. Not only do you kill bugs but it makes a satisfying zapping sound when you do. And give one to a kid and he or she will clear your area of bugs all with a big smile on his or her face. I found this particularly good on those swarms of tiny bugs because there's not much you can do normally but with one of these you'll kill half and the rest will scram. My only compaint, to charge it you need a B wire, which they supply but you know how it is, these wires get lost. I have a lot of C's but B's are much rarer. Hope they switch to the C type.

The Zapocalypse Has Begun — And I Am Its King 👑⚡
I didn’t think I could fall in love with a fly swatter, but here we are. “Zap It!” is less of a tool and more of a divine instrument of justice. If Thor traded in Mjölnir for a bug zapper, this would be it.This glorious electric tennis racket of doom has far exceeded my expectations. I upgraded from a different so-called “death racket” that now feels like a pool noodle in comparison. That thing barely tickled the flies. This baby? It sings with righteous fury. One swing and—POP!—instant airborne cremation. No fly funeral. No mercy.I used to run around the house like a madman with a rolled-up magazine, whispering threats. Now, I casually stroll, Zap It! in hand, like a Jedi on patrol. The blue light? It’s the beacon of death. The built-in rechargeable battery? Eternal vengeance. The satisfaction? Immeasurable.Bottom line: If you’re still clapping your hands like some sort of 18th-century peasant, do yourself a favor. Upgrade. Reclaim your throne. Become the Lord of the Flies (but like, in a good way).10/10. Would absolutely electrocute again.

A charging wire for each unit would have been nice!
The swatter works fine, but I bought two, and only one charging wire came with the set ... I think one charging wire for each would have been nice.

LOUD Zap but very effective!
I have bought these for myself, as white elephant Christmas gifts, and housewarming gifts, and they are always a hit! They are easy to use and make pest control a fun activity! My only complaint is that I have a reactive dog, and she gets worked up when she hears the zap (and yes, it is a strong zap!). Overall, 10/10, I will always have one of these in every house I live in.

The best bug killer available on todays market.
I love these rackets. I wish I would have had them decades ago. I've killed so many bugs and wasps since I got these rackets that it always puts me in a good mood when I use them. It's one heck of a good defense weapon against the flying trouble makers.

UPDATE! AVOID. GREAT zapper but fragile... a few bugs ;)
EDIT* AGAIN* : I am considering keeping the set as the electric discharges in the handle have never repeated. Yes I'm a bit nervous about it, but dang it.... this is a DARN GOOD BUG ZAPPER!! Those buggers go down and dont get up. [I have not been contacted or promoted by whoever sells this product, just an FYI]If you have a sudden infestation of lil flying buggers, this guy will absolutely destroy them in one swing.Yet there are still the listed cons. IDK!! I'd give this a high 3* out of 5* but with many caveats.I wish the build quality were SLIGHTLY higher.I would pay more for that.I am leaving the rest of the review as it was originally written, the following is an IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!I have decided to return these zappers, as the one in pristine condition (not the one I tapped the bugs out with) began SPARKING INSIDE THE HANDLE as if it was killing a bug inside! It happened about 6 times in quick succession, was not plugged in, and we basically threw it onto the couch right after and it sparked one or twice while the button was let go of and it was in the air.If the light were brighter and NOT a pale blue, the build quality were slightly higher, and it didnt have so many issues, this would be a fantastic zapper as it kills bugs DEAD, not just stuns them.I changed my prior 4 star to 1 star considering the new revelations.***OLD REVIEW***Our neighbors house had much needed repairs/improvements, but apparently their moth infestation choose our house as their new house. As a bug zapper they are FANTASTIC. Our old crappy ones from the summer would only briefly stun the moths. This wand turns them into moth-popcorn! I never have to double check to make sure the moths I hit are dead. I know they are!!!ITS ALSO RECHARGABLE!!!No more searching for AA's only to find all you have are 7 year old rechargables that only charge to like 12% now. I've been using it like crazy on these darn moths and they continue to stay down. I havent seen any sign of power degradation. The cons...It comes with a 'flashlight'. Great idea, poor execution. It is a pale blueish/white color and makes for the spotting of flying creatures difficult. Just use a regular flashlight. The "Power Off" switch is almost directly under the "Zap the Bugs" switch. Sometimes we've accidentally turned it off because the grip isnt the best of ergonomic shapes.Be VERY CAREFUL with this wand!!!!!!!!If a bug gets stuck, smack it against a hanging towel or something. The plastic feels flimsy, and the zapping coils DEFINITELY are!I've very lightly tapped it sideways against the arm of my chair a few times and noticed it seemed to be short-circuiting. On closer inspection, the inner electric metal was touching the protective outter layer, causing sparking. It was simple to fix with tweezers and a little time, but be warned!!! This is a fairly fargile product! If the product were built a bit sturdier with a stronger flashlight, this would be a MUST have!As is, it is a solid, though fragile, product.Never tap the side against ANYTHING! Always either wave the dead bugs out or hit it against a free-hanging towel face-first or something. If they improve on those few cons, it will become one of my "always recommend" for people who enjoy the outdoors or deal with flying insect issues. This could have been a 5 * but as is I give it 4/5.

great when they work
They are the best for zapping mosquitos when fully operational but frequently have quality control issue, 1 of the 2 Zap It rackets charged, the viewing light works but no zapping light or zapping so faulty connection. Amazon doesn't make it easy to return half an order.

Really works!
I have tried that much more expensive executioner pro and this is 1000 times better, no joke. I can wave each one of them around the same pack of mosquitoes and the other one will pop every so often - this one sounds like somebody lit a string of black cats. It’s I think the electricity and it is stronger because the pops are brighter and louder and it kills a heck of a lot more mosquitoes.
