Q: Will this work with the iphone 14 pro max? i’m seeing conflicting posts about the phone not sitting right in the stand.

I am using it with an iPhone 14 Pro Max in a Moment MagSafe case, Apple Watch Ultra, and older gen airpods. Works with all three with no issues noted so far. My 14 Pro Max in the case has a very strong magnetic hold on the charger.

Q: Have you tested this with Apple's new "horizontal" features - as described for the new iOS 17?

iOS 17 has not been released yet, so no.

Q: Can I hang my phone vertically if I want I to watch a movie in bed on it?

There's a slight angle based on the design of the product that won't allow it to hang vertically, unfortunately.

Q: How fast does this charge a iphone 14 pro max please ? is it fast charging?

The HiRise 3 is not a "fast charger", but will charge all three devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods) from 0 to 100% in 2 hours.
