Works well for maple syrup
I used this product for boiling sap to make maple syrup. It is easy to use, and seemed very accurate.

Excellent product!
This is an excellent product! Super easy to use, increases safety and is easy as pie (LOL) to read. Where has this product been all my life? I make a lot of candy, hard - fudges - chocolates and this is a super tool to have, on hand, particularly with candy and super accurate temperatures make all the difference. Highly recommend this thermometer whether you use it for candy or general cooking and baking. Well worth the money.
