Excellent machine
Had these traps for over a week and rats were just running around in my garden i had put peanut butter in them they were nit interested. So yesterday I put some wet dog food in them and results 2 dead rats. The clamp on the traps are very powerful so it would be a quick kill. I wouldn't want them to suffer. But excellent results.

Excellent trap that works well
Excellent trap that works well . Having chickens attracts rats and mice this trap is perfect because a curious chicken or child can't get caught in it.We have been very successful in catching rats and finding peanut butter in the bait trap gets results

These don’t work as described
I set these at night and checked them in the morning the traps had been sprung but nothing was caught in them or whatever had been caught had managed to escape again. The o e rat it did catch wasn’t killed instantly we heard it screaming as it was caught and in pain, although I’m trying to kill the rats I don’t want them to suffer unnecessarily the rat was trapped and screaming and I had to ask a neighbour to finish it off.

One Kill Per Trap On Some Traps
The traps kill rats and there is no messing around the animal is killed fast. The issue I have found is the traps can be so strong they actually smash open and the trap clip to hold the trap plate open for the rat to step on snaps off. So I have in effect had one kill per trap on 50 percent of the traps. This makes it an expensive way to catch rats. Which is a shame as these traps otherwise kill fast and there is no suffering of a rat not killed outright.
