Klipsch Flexus CORE 200 Review – A Soundbar That Truly Delivers
After trying multiple soundbars—including the Sony HT-A5000, which I initially chose to pair with my Sony TV—I can confidently say the Klipsch Flexus CORE 200 stands out in every way. The sound quality is simply phenomenal. Whether you're watching movies, streaming music, or gaming, the audio is rich, immersive, and crystal clear. The build quality is equally impressive. It feels premium and well-engineered, which adds to the overall experience. Setup was a breeze, and the companion app is intuitive and easy to use. My only wish is that the app included equalizer presets specifically tailored for movie watching—but that’s a minor gripe in an otherwise stellar package. One feature I really appreciate is the subwoofer input, which gives you the flexibility to use any subwoofer you prefer. That kind of versatility is rare and very welcome. This is the third soundbar I’ve purchased, and I finally feel like I’ve found “the one.” It hits the sweet spot of performance, quality, and value. If you're in the market for a soundbar, skip the trial-and-error and make your first purchase the best one—go with the Klipsch Flexus CORE 200.

Another Klipsch masterpiece!
Listen, you’ll see a lot of reviews that start with, “I never leave reviews…”, but you can check me out, I think I’ve left 5 reviews in the past 10 years. If I like it, I leave a review. This soundbar is amazing. I used to sell electronics and I went in with very low expectations knowing the soundbar market, but I’ve had nothing but admiration and success with Klipsch products. So, I decided we finally needed the upgrade for family movie night. The soundbar is heavy. Solid build quality. I had no doubts from Klipsch. I decided to go with the grey/walnut color scheme and it is gorgeous. I totally didn’t know there’s an LED array that lets you know different pieces of information (volume, mode, etc), so that was a pleasant surprise.I used the eARC connection from my TCL tv and once I got audio switched in the settings of my tv, there seemed to be a few second delay as the tv and the soundbar synched up with each other. After that few seconds, it was like being in the room as whatever I had on the tv was being recorded. The sound was crystal clear and the voices could be heard thanks to the dedicated center channel.I switched to Max (or whatever it’s called now) and pulled up Dune 2 to hear how it handled Dolby Atmos. Despite not having surrounds or a subwoofer, the vibrations of a battle scene were palpable and the buzzing resonance of the Harkonnen speech at the beginning of the movie was haunting. I decided to see what Star Wars sounded like and tried out Episode 9 on Disney+. The built-in subwoofers enhanced the thrum of the engines and the simulated surround sound made the space scenes immersive. After testing for movies, we watched 2 comedy specials on Netflix. It felt like we were there in the theaters. The room we have is about 200 sq ft and the sound fills the entire space. A very immersive experience with this soundbar. The real test was with my wife. She normally doesn’t like the hassle of “dealing with extra remotes or the different sound,” but this seems to have integrated with our TCL Roku tv remote with no issues. And she’s happy that the dialog is more pronounced than with the tv speakers alone. It’s only been a few hours with it, but this thing is amazing. She said she’ll probably watch tv with the soundbar from now on!Finally, I tested the Bluetooth out with my phone and it connected easily and, again, the sound could only be better with a dedicated subwoofer. Otherwise, a great way to play some tunes with great, full sound. If you’re looking for a soundbar that is easy to use, immediately enhances the sound for your tv, and sounds absolutely mind-blowing for what you’re getting, look no further. The Klipsch Flexus Core 200 is the real deal. Bravo again Klipsch!Full disclosure: I didn’t test the optical connection. The HDMI cable I used was a 2.2 high speed, 8K capable, 48Gbps cable that I had bought on Amazon about a year ago (I had some lip synch issues with my PS5 and TCL tv using a basic HDMI 2.0 cable and found that upgrading to a higher quality cable is the answer). So, I can’t tell you if there are issues with lower quality cords or other connections. I would assume there would be issues based on my past experiences.

Worth every cent!
Been using it for about 5 hours so far, build quality is top notch, connectivity so far has been stellar, value for money is worth $400 easy, functions as it’s supposed to so far, size fits my 50 inch tv perfectly.I live in a small space and only turn tv up to 50 and sound bar is at 25 with night mode turned off, the bass is incredible without the subwoofer like it sounds really freaking good. You can listen to it in videos but it sounds so much better in person. The dialogue is crystal clear on newer movies and shows but older shows it’s a little lower but still able to hear it without trouble.I turned night mode on and it’s not a cheap gimmicky mode like I’ve used on other things, this cuts the booming bass but still has bass just not the loud cinematic kind. It sounds really good on night mode I really love it.Using it on a Vizio tv with eARC and CEC is enabled on tv. I can control volume with Vizio remote and when I power the tv on with Vizio remote the sound bar comes on automatically. However you still need the Klipsch remote for different modes, dialogue, and night mode. Two modes you get are movie and music mode, I haven’t used it long enough to know if music mode is good for music because movie is good for both movies and music. It’s heavy and feels to the touch like a professionally built device, you can’t see it in pictures but it has a wood like pattern on it which I really like. It feels like a $500 device very well made and will probably last for many years. If you’re on the fence about which soundbar to get, this is the one, the bass, mids, and highs are all amazing even without a subwoofer. The fact that I can use a wired subwoofer besides the one meant to be added (sub 100) has me grinning from ear to ear. Going to add the R-120SW because in the manual it shows that you can plug into the “L/LFE” and shows the Gain knob found on that sub. Would probably shake the earth, lol. This bar has made me a happy camper!!Edit, 1 month review: Turning on blue tooth and setting mode to music, music sounds way better on blue tooth. Playing music on youtube on the tv over hdmi sounds like crap but on bluetooth sounds pretty darn good.Still haven't needed to buy a sub, the sound bar alone is plenty bassy enough for me for movies and tv shows streaming on prime.
