Misleading be careful****
Have painted close to 50 paint by number pictures. When they say 'with frame or framed" and you pay extra for it - it has always meant the canvas was stretched onto the wooden frame for you. This was not. Might be unintentional but I feel misled and have never complained before.

No ready to paint
This paint by number kit arrived as a limp piece of fabric deeply creased and folded instead of a hard backed canvas. It didn’t occur to me that the description “unframed” meant something other than it’s customary usage.

It has been a while since I’ve painted something, so this was a good way for me to practice my painting techniques. The colors are very vibrant and saturated, it really makes the picture come alive.

Trashed
This is the first painting I actually had to trash. The quality of the paints are so poor that it was a waste of time trying to complete it. I was almost half-way through before I gave up. The numbers on the canvas still showed through even I repainted the areas a few times.

Good but...
That was the first time I bought painting by number. Mostly to check if I could use this kind of kit as a gift in future. My observation are as follows:1. Half of the paints was dry by the time I opened the kit (about 2 months after purchase) despite of being in individual containers and closed in ziplock bag.2. Paints that were usable were too thin to cover the numbers printed on canvas.. And amount of paints available was insufficient to put thick layers to correct that.3. Some colors were veru uneven (lumpy and watery)4. Desription didn’t clearly say that canvas is not stretched. It was said instead that kit is being sold without frame. This could be really misleading. Especially if you get this as a gift without knowledge in subject matter.Summarizing, idea is very neat but quality of the product just so so. I imagine that instead of indicating very tiny spots of colors where the printed number is bigger than the patch it could be replaced by one bigger patch with marking „here blend this, this and that color as per your liking”. After all every single painting will be different anyways :)

Love red poppies! Love this painting!
I have completed several red poppy paintings, and I am in the process of painting this one. I like to blend the colors on my own, using the numbered spaces as a suggestion and not the final direction. This painting lends itself to that style of paint by number. Of course, you can always follow the directions and you will result in a beautiful finished product. Love this painting!

Very nice PBN of a famous painting
I really enjoyed this painting. You can buy the print, but there is something about painting it yourself. The paints were a bit fussy and a few were quite dry, but I was able to finish it with some thinning. That is what the four stars are for.
