Does what it says it does. Includes instructions set in type sizes that are readable even if you have a fever (still have to work at it). Probe cover instructions still blithering, but oh, well. Precise, accurate. Display is readable and color coded helpfully. Instructions are easy to follow, and though it (conservatively) predicts eight seconds for oral use, it's faster, in my experience. Compared to a $10 drugstore cheapy, its worth the $7 price increase for quickness and easiness of use alone (that's really important if you're burning up and head is pounding).

I needed a new thermometer to replace my forehead thermometer that has become completely unreliable. This works perfectly and is much more reliable because it’s placed in the mouth. Therefore, I really appreciate the covers that are provided.

I only had my old ones from the 70s. This was perfect. Great deal. You can clearly see the numbers very functional. Easy to use. Plain and simple. It's what you need when you're not feeling well.
