These are excellent entry-level speakers. I use them with my Mac mini and the sound quality is far better than I expected for the price. They’re compact, minimalistic, and look good on the desk, while still delivering clear, powerful audio for everyday use.Highly recommended if you want great sound in a simple, affordable package.

These speakers are just superb for the money. Bought to use with my laptop and are ideal for listening to music or content, loud enough too. The bass isn't crazy but perfectly adequate for music and nice detail to the sound as well, used for classical and jazz as well as rock and pop music. The minimalistic design looks smart on the desk and they take up little room. Worth plugging them in to get that extra boost. Good job Creative!!

Stop press: one year after getting them, they've just stopped working. Not good value for money then. :-I bought this because my new computer monitor does not have speakers. As such they are a means to an end to get some sound out of my computer without having to put my headphones on. At their price point you can't expect too much. I did notice that the clarity in the treble end could be better, but the more I have used these, the more I have got to like them. They look great with the gold coloured speaker cones at the front, and their overall sound output is more than you might expect. When listening to Sarah Thawer on Youtube giving a drum lesson /demo with Drumeo, you can really hear the deep down ring on the toms when she hits them and that is impressive enough to keep me listening. Their bass output can be quite tuneful (but not ground shaking). Their impressive sound output might be due to the unusual radiator "port" at the rear of the speakers which I have pictured here. It's almost like another speaker cone except that its actually a flat piece of solid material with a rubber diaphragm around it, and moves in unison with the speaker cone at the front; you can actually press on it, and the speaker at the front moves! (although I wouldn't recommend pressing it too hard). As another reviewer on here pointed out, they do sound better if you plug them into an independent power plug, rather than just the usb port on your computer; I use a 5v 2A usb charging plug, along with the usb a to usb c adapter that came with the speakers. I have them switched onto the high gain setting (accessed by a switch on the bottom of one of the speakers), which gives them a touch more output. The volume control feels solid enough, although you need to turn it to at least the 9 oclock position before you can hear anything. About the 12 oclock position seems ideal for normal listening at close quarters to general music/speech on the internet. I have no desire to listen to them at higher volumes, so can't comment on that. The overall build quality is quite good; the sound quality overall is good enough for listening to speech/music on Youtube.I would comment in general that all audio equipment needs some hours of play time before it sounds its best. The bass on these speakers has improved a bit since new.Overall I am quite pleased with my purchase.

This exceeded my expectations. For the price, the audio quality is surprisingly superior. The highs are crisp, and the subwoofer adequately handles the lows, providing a significant upgrade from typical PC or laptop speakers. The generous cable lengths are convenient, and the system's power draw eliminates the need for an additional power outlet as its powered only by your system. This represents exceptional value. I opted for the wired version, as I find the slight audio delay inherent in Bluetooth technology unacceptable. Setup was straightforward, taking only ten minutes. Aesthetically, the speakers are also quite pleasing. In comparison to the inadequate speakers in my Samsung Book 5, these are a substantial improvement. They connect via both the 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-A port. Overall, I strongly recommend this speaker system; its value is undeniable.
