Nurture your palm trees and shrubs! Miracle-Gro® Shake 'n Feed® Palm Plant Food contains magnesium, iron and manganese to grow lush palms, cycads, and tropical plants and help prevent fronds from yellowing and curling. It also contains compost - microbes break down compost into nutrients that support root development which increases water efficiency and grows strong plants. This gardening product can be used with indoor or outdoor container plants, as wells as in-ground plants. To apply to in-ground plants and established container plants, shake evenly onto the soil within the spread of the palm's fronds using the recommended application rates on the label. Avoid contact with the trunk and foliage. Work plant food into the 1-3 inches of soil, then water to start feeding. When using with new container plants, mix into the soil at the time of planting, plant your palm as usual, and water to start feeding. For a beautiful garden all season long, reapply Miracle-Gro® Shake 'N Feed® Palm Plant Food every 3 months and water your plants regularly.

Works great for my banana trees

Easy to Use—Promising Early Results
I’m new to palm tree care and recently moved into a neighborhood with my first palm. This food dissolves easily in water and works well for a concentrated feeding. Our tree is about 4 weeks old, and I’m already starting to see some new growth. It’s hard to say yet if that’s from the food or just the growing season, but I’m hopeful! This product came recommended in a few gardening forums, and so far, I’m pleased with it.

Don't over do it
The media could not be loaded. When you buy this product to fertilize your palm,make sure you only do a handful around the base of the tree. Do dot let it touch the base!! Dig a little trench around it with your finger and fill the trench up and then cover with dirt. I fertilize mine in March, a little in june and late September. Do not fertilize in the winter. If temperatures get below 32 you need to cover the tree and especially the base so it doesn't freeze. It's OK if the palm leaves turn brown in the winter just trim them off. It will continue to grow. This is the only fertilizer to use. I wouldn't trust anything else.
