Wow I was suprised this worked in my 2013 Maserati GranTurismo! Steams perfectly from my iPhone. $$ less than other products.

These things are trash, bought one and it sounded like a terrible quality phone call coming through only one speaker with a terrible hissing. Did their "fix" which is to turn on the noise cancelling which...cancelled all sound altogether. Thought maybe I got a dud unit so I got another, same issue. Other bluetooth units work fine in my car (08 BMW) but was looking for one that would turn on and connect automatically. Don't waste your money here.

Used with a mini amp ORB Audio BOOSTER this allows you to stream without turning on the TV. Can watch video on phone but still have stereo sound. Great range, rarely have connection issues

On the strength of my experience with the LDAC version of the Firefly, I ordered the standard one to use in my car. It apparently has an issue where certain musical passages cause the unit to suddenly spit out full-volume static. It's really loud and completely repeatable, and i've confirmed it's not the audio files themselves. I used it for a while, but it really let me down when I was really into a particular song, really feeling the vibe at a higher volume, when the sudden screeching static startled me so bad I almost had an accident. I literally opened the center console and ripped the unit out and threw it in the back seat in a rage, my pulse rate suddenly about 180. After reading the other reviews I'm thinking the standard unit is hot garbage. Sound quality was pretty decent when the static issue wasn't rearing its ugly head, but that issue alone makes it a hard NO.Like I said though, the LDAC version has been working well for me, the build and audio quality is definitely better. Just spend the extra money. I should have, again...

Such a compact device, but does a very good job at playing music from my phone.

Helps update your old cars technology...BT setup was a breeze. Highly recommend,My second purchase.

Defective trash. Plugged it and and thought it would be a great simple thing. Connected bt easily. All was going well until I actually tried to play music over it. Distorted and garbled. If it touch the product sometimes it will almost become clear. Tried multiple ports and chargers. Multiple connections and even cables between the product and a port. Nothing works.

Decent price, and very simple to use. It’s minimalistic as well; Nothing clunking around in your glovebox or console while you drive. I like the idea of the Firefly a lot! Only problem is that the sound quality…it’s no good. Even with the stock sound system in my 2010 135i, there’s a very substantial decrease in sound quality over a conventional wired connection. I know I shouldn’t expect it to be perfect, but this just doesn’t perform quite as well as other wireless alternatives. If that were improved, I’d buy another just to experience it. It really is a neat product, I just wish the sound were better.
