Saw this on WranglerStar and decided to try it. I'm carrying extra chromosomes when it comes to knife sharpening,I just can't get an edge,and this thing puts razor shaving sharp edges on my knives. Definitely a little pricey but it's a must have for people like me who couldn't sharpen a knife with a gun to their head. Seems sturdy,crazy easy to use,hold and clean. Work sharp builts tough products so I imagine it'll last a lifetime,just need belt replacements

Pleased! Its a great sharpener. It would be better but its pretty good so far. I'm happy! Easy to use, slight learning curve but not bad. Quiet and takes up little bench space. Buy it and you'll be sharpening in no time.

I have used various Work Sharp tools for decades, but I put off upgrading to the Ken Onion sharpener for years because I couldn't justify the additional cost for the tool or the sharpening belts. I finally gave in and found I had been wrong. The Ken Onion model's performance is worth every penny of additional cost. Not only is the Ken Onion model faster and more reliably consistent, the end results are greatly superior. Now all I have to do is find a new home for three previous Work Sharp sharpener models.

base unit is great. that built in 65° scissor guide is extremely handy. got 7 sears at home, and sneak this in to sharpen the sears in my kitchen at work. sorry to say the grinder add on is why i had to knock it down to 4 stars instead of 5. it works great. especially like using the slack belt for serrations, plus with that 90° guide you can flatten the backside of those knives. the increase in angles is awesome. the extra higher degrees are great for tools, and at 10° i was able to restore my grandfather's straight razor. the reason it gets 4 stars is because i needed a third party riser tool to work the grinder add on proper. on the add on, the degrees set the angle of the belt, but you need to free hand the blades. needed the riser to hold the blade steady to the degree of the belt. no doubt this will be a feature of the mk 3. despite my complaint, still recommend, especially if you have steady hands.

Really great tool for the serious home sharpener or aspiring pro. This can do everything fast, easy, and precise. I have used it for knifes, tools, and even swords! It can sharpen and repair blades with ease. The grinder attachment is the way to go. Great quality, safe, easy to use, compact but not cheap feeling at all. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a fast alternative to sharpening stones or plates.
