Don’t listen to negative reviews about 2-cables being 3 pin
Yes, this cable has 1-4 pin male and 2-3 pin male cables which is the way it’s supposed to be and advertised as such. Your motherboard is designed to read the speed of one fan per port. It can control multiple fans but all fans on a single port has to run at the same speed. I’m using this product to ensure continuity between my three front intake case fans. If you need to run fans at different speeds (e.g. intake fans vs. exhaust fans), they will need to be on different fan ports on your motherboard. You may want to consider investing in a fan hub that allows you to control the speed through the hub. I control 5 other case fans through a Corsair Commander XT (2-140mm top exhaust, 1-120mm rear exhaust, and 2-120mm bottom intake). I also have three other fans on a NZXT AIO working as an intake that are controlled by the NZXT software which also came with a 3-fan splitter cable designed the same way as this one.In summary, if you’re looking to run three fans at the same speed continuously regardless if they at DC (3-pin) or PWM (4-pin), this is should work. Hope this is helpful.

Used for a gaming build
Always good to have one (or a few) of these in your computer building tool box!Used this for an less-expensive motherboard that didn't have the plugs for more than one fan. Was able to daisy chain all of the fan from the one fan header.Good product and durable. Would definitely recommend.

Good Quality. Built in flexibility
This cable worked great. The fan in my GigE switch failed. The new fan that I ordered came in a two pack. This cable assembly allowed me to add a second fan thus doubling the air flow through the switch. Since I was using only two fans, I clipped off the wires to the third tail. This cable was constructed with all three wires of each color branching into the main female connector. This provides lots of flexibility in how the cable is used.Great product. It worked exactly as I wanted it to.

Simple cable splitter that allowed me more fans!
It works, that's all there really is to say about it. The cable splits into three ports, one is a 4-pin header and the other two is a three-pin header but the third pin is located in the 4th pin slot. So the cable splitter might as well be 1 4-pin connector and 2 2-pin connector. Regardless, this is an amazing solution if your motherboard does not have many connections for fans (mine only had two).

Absolutely Amazing when it comes to performance, Weird when it comes to style
My motherboard only supported up to 3 3 pin pen fans and was idling at 40 degrees and skyrocketing when playing games, so I bought this. And I’m happy. It works amazing, my PC is now idling ant 29 degrees. and they are 4 PIN. The only weird thing when it comes to this is that it’s stiff and you won’t really know where to cover up or put it so it’ll just be there. Performance wise absolutely recommended

Ain't pretty. But it works.
This product works as described. It is not an especially well made item. But it works and that's really all that matters. The plug/connecting points are solid and firmly attached to the wires but the heat shielding and black covering covering them was not fully assembled on mine. Had to use a lighter to make the heat shrink seal up properly because when it was delivered it was barely on at all let alone shrunk properly. Anyway - it ain't pretty but it works and it is cheap. There are cheaper options but this is still a much less expensive option than most box stores will cost you. As stated already - it's not pretty. But it works. If aesthetics matter to you then expect to pay for a prettier product. If you just want a product that works. Well, this works.

Only 1 case fan port? Now you can have 3
I used this to add two rear 80mm fans to my Mini ITX build. My H270N motherboard only had one CPU_FAN port and one CASE_FAN port so I previously couldn't add additional fans to my Thermaltake Core V1 Snow Edition besides the built in 200mm. Popped this bad boy on and added the fans no problem. I can't really tell if the fans have made a difference, but at least this cable worked well. I don't know if it really matters, but two of the ports on this extension have 3 pins and one has 4 pins. So I plugged the 200mm into the 4 pin and the 80mms into the 3pin ports. Everything is spinning.
